How to Get a Good Job Without Going to College
If you’re not going to college after high school, don’t worry about it. College is not for everyone anyways. (Besides, it’s over-hyped… you can still find good jobs without going to college). For example, I found steady employment after high school — even without a college degree. And I’m going to tell you exactly that…
1. Join the army without being shipped oversea
You see, if you want to join the army and not get killed, select a job that requires you to do paper work and sit in the office, as oppose to something that requires combat. Some people who have worked in the army for 20 years never been in combat zone, simply because they’re sitting behind a desk doing paper work. Try joining the Air Force or Navy. They’re not combat intense.
2. Become a bartender and make a lot of tips!
Some people are career bartenders, believe it or not. They keep working as a bartender until they become a manager of the restaurant (happened to a friend) or they work in an upscale restaurant where a $5 tip per drink isn’t uncommon. You go to bartending school and become a bartender — you can go from training to employment under 2 months.
3. Become your own boss — freelance!
This is what I like… I love being my own boss. Wake up whenever I want, no office uniform or travel time to the office. Turn on the computer and make some money! You can be a graphic designer, virtual assistance, programmer, etc. The sky is the limit when you’re self employed.
You can find success without going to college! Learn from my experience, someone who graduated high school and has done it all.
