As 2009 comes to a close many employees and job seekers alike begin to reflect on what to do differently in the New Year.

There are many reasons why an employer may reject a job candidate. We explore five reasons below which shows why the employers aren’t too keen on hiring you.

Last week I read a post from one of my favorite bloggers, Ryan Stephens, who wrote a piece called ‘How to be an Awesome Intern’. My long ass response to his post suggested that networking is critical for the intern. This long comment I shared with Ryan and his readers inspired me to turn it into a full blown post on COTJ. Regardless of the personal reasons that you may be in the market for a job change or even a whole direction in your career, there are a few points to keep in mind as dip your to into the waters of the job market.
